I tried my father’s film camera when I was a kid, loved the lenses and all the exciting tech staff. But film was very expensive. We only used camera for a very special occasions. I purchased my first kit canon camera 8 years ago. I was photographing everything what I could, I wanted to do everything, fashion, commercial, landscape, natural, every style what can be done. Looking back it was so ridiculous, it’s like you want to be a pro in every sport. I travelled 7 months around the world. I been in many countries from Iceland, US…Thailand and many others. I didn’t take many photos, I was just experiencing my journey, swimming in Blue Lagoon in Iceland, watching the air planes flying few meters above your head in St. Maarten at Maho beach, swimming with turtles in Barbados, exploring different cultures, watching the sunset in Sidney. When I finished my journey I knew I have to choose a direction in photography if I want to be serious. I was focusing on posing, creating mood, understating what makes a photo bad or good. When I was learning more and more about posing, lighting, weddings came up more and more times. After one year preparation I was about to do my first wedding. I just finished a 5 days long tennis course before that, spend 20 hours on the tennis court (after 30 it is hard), the last day I had a massive pain in my left ankle and I got cold, next day morning I had a 39C high fever and barley could stand on my left leg. My first wedding was about the begun. I was standing on foot from 10am till 9pm. There was no time to guess, I had to use everything what I learned during my preparation in the last two years, I had to produce images, photographing a wedding. It was a long day, but I was focused so much on my job I almost forgot the fever, the pain in my leg. I spent the next 6 days in the bed I was so ill after the wedding, but I done it. I loved every minutes of the wedding, without all the preparation I couldn’t do that. Photographing weddings comes with high responsibility and lot of pressure. Becoming a professional means you perform under any circumstances.
